The Assistant Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Programs and will work closely with all program coordinators to ensure program administration and operations are running efficiently. As our Assistant Program Coordinator, you will play a key role coordinating Bridge’s programmatic systems and functions. This position will manage and analyze program data and oversee special projects for the agency which will include the development and dissemination of new policies and programs. You will serve as a Bridge representative at community meetings and special task forces with our partners.

Job Description: Assistant Program Coordinator
Hours: Full Time / Monday - Friday

Reports To: Director of Programs
Exemption Status: Exempt


Assistant Coordinator of Programs works closely with the Director of Programs and Program Coordinators to ensure administration is effective and efficient. The position will oversee special projects for the agency which will include the development and dissemination of new policies and programs. The Assistant Coordinator will also assist in data management and analysis for the entire program and will represent Bridge in community meetings with our partners. This is a great opportunity for a Macro Social Worker or a Social Worker interested in program management and operations.

  • Provide administrative support to program teams by: typing, faxing, and photocopying, data entry and tracking, filing, ordering, distributions, maintaining records and minutes, and a variety of other miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties.  
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, coordination and performance of interns.
  • Serve as an organizational representative for Bridge at external community meetings and task forces.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate audio-visual and technology requirements, order food/beverages, etc., as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule staff training's, consultations, special events and manage changes as needed.
  • Assist in the organization and facilitation of all Bridge staff meetings to discuss areas of concern, relevant programmatic information and updates and other topics as needed.
  • Manage ETO database and program data in order to actively monitor progress toward program outcomes to ensure culturally appropriate continuum of services for clients.
  • Monitors program guidelines and policies with the purpose of ensuring compliance with all internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all Bridge programs are conducted in a manner sensitive to and shows respect for cultural and ethnic diversity for all Bridge clients.
  • Manage short term projects for the agency as assigned.
  • Organize and track all program donations.
  • A BA/BS required and 3+ years of professional work experience in a similar position.
  • Proficient with Google and Microsoft office suites.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with residents, staff, co-workers and supervisor. 
  • Comfort and confidence working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups. 
  • Clear and strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Valid driver's license required and clean driving record. (car not required)
  • Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background and driving record check.
